Because my life has been basically devoid of religion, I am not too familiar with Palm Sunday. Curious about its notation in my wall calendar and historical significance, your most recent post prompted my further research. I look forward to reading your intriguing book and learning about women in the Bible. I found the Seder video to be informative; the music one inspirational!
Thank you. You can find a version of what we call Palm Sunday in all four gospels. Each one is slightly different. Read Mark 11:1-10 first. Mark was the first gospel written. Matthew and Luke used Mark in the writing of their gospels. Matthew 21:1-9, Luke 19:28-38 and John 12:12-19 are the references to the Palm Sunday events in those gospels.
